Concrete manufacturer HQ coming to Kerrville

KERRVILLE – Megaacrete, a joint venture between Litecrete and Aercon, has chosen Kerrville for its new $40 million, 120,000-sf U.S. headquarters. It will add 40 permanent jobs with salaries over $54,000.

The city is expecting a $58 million economic investment from Megaacrete. The company secured $1.2 million in incentives offered in the form of a land grant from Kerrville’s Economic Improvement Corporation, with the city and Kerr County pledging an additional combined $1.7 million in incentives.

Megaacrete will produce autoclaved aerated concrete, a molded concrete product comprised mostly of air.

Method Architecture is the project’s designer.
