SAN ANTONIO – Site preparation work is now underway on the 68-acre parcel at Zarzamora St. and Jaguar Ln. that will be home to University Health’s new hospital.
The $475 million Palo Alto hospital will have an emergency room for adults and children, labor and delivery suites, and a neonatal intensive care unit. It will connect to a new medical office building that will be home to family medicine practices and a wide range of specialists.
The facility is planned for a historically underserved South Side area expected to grow significantly in the coming years.
Doors will open in 2027.
