SAN MARCOS – Villas Del San Xavier, a low-income housing community for seniors, is making headway on development and will open this month. The facility will be a part of a larger development called Bridgemore Senior Village.
The complex at 2621 S. I-35 will have approximately 156 one- and two-bedroom units. One-bedroom units will charge $1,248/month, and two-bedroom units will be $1,493/month.
At least 5 percent of the project’s units will be set aside for tenants who have hearing or visual impairments.
The villas will have a dog park, clubhouse, fitness center, beauty salon, game room, and coffee bar.
GML Senior Affordable Housing LLC is the project’s developer.
Resident move-ins are slated to begin in October. However, the complex will fine-tune the project until the end of the year.
