SAN ANTONIO – After sitting empty for years, the former Forest Park Medical Center is about to reopen as Methodist Hospital Landmark.
Methodist Health System, which acquired the structure near I-10 and Loop 1604, has been redeveloping the site since the pandemic.
The new 155,000-sf hospital will have 54 beds and 12 operating rooms. It will also house 27 private patient rooms and 14 VIP suites.
Methodist is spending roughly $75 million, including site acquisition costs, to redevelop the hospital.
Doors are expected to open before the end of the month.
