SAN ANTONIO – Meritage Homes is planning 152 single-family lots immediately south of Bulverde, at the intersection of Blanco Rd. and Specht Rd., as part of the third phase of its Estancia Ranch subdivision.
Of the 65 acres that are included in the development plans, around 20 will go toward the new homes. An additional 40 acres will go toward common areas.
Including the new addition, Estancia Ranch will have a total of 420 homes and span 271 acres.
The development is in San Antonio’s extraterritorial jurisdiction, as land near the city’s inner core is becoming increasingly scarce and expensive.
Homes at Estancia Ranch will start at $350,000.
