SAN ANTONIO – D.R. Horton is plotting a 220-lot development just across the street from the Navistar facility on the city’s south side.
The development is at the intersection of Blue Wing Rd. and South Flores Rd. It will provide about five lots per acre.
Last year, D.R. Horton pulled back on its San Antonio starts resulting in a loss of 30 percent in new home closings.
The uptick in south side development has resulted in a need for more housing. The 920,000-sf Navistar plant will purportedly create over 600 jobs in the Alamo City.
