ELGIN – Nearly a year after starting construction, Carr Lane has finished its $12 million, 50,000-sf manufacturing facility.
The city’s economic development corporation provided the company $372,250 for land and closing costs in return for hitting certain benchmarks.
The facility will immediately be one of the city’s biggest employers.
Carr Lane makes more than 135,000 parts for industries as varied as aerospace, agriculture, and automation.
