West Texas A&M to welcome new AgriLife center

​​​​CANYON – The Texas A&M AgriLife Research and Extension Center of Amarillo is relocating to a new facility on the West Texas A&M University campus.

The building will be home to about 60 employees.

The center will cost $30 million with $20 million coming from the Permanent University Fund established by the state.

Construction will wrap in early 2024.
