AUSTIN – Karlin Real Estate LLC is transforming the 156-acre, 1.1-million-sf campus formerly occupied by 3M into lab space for Austin’s emerging life sciences industry.
The new campus, Highpoint 2222, is expected to be move-in ready later this year.
Part of the property is being turned into a 58,000-sf amenity hub with health and wellness uses and as food and beverage offerings. Plans also call for a 75,000-sf atrium with outdoor pavilions, courtyards, and games.
Leases at the campus start at 150,000 sf. Stream Realty Partners is handling leasing services.
Turner Construction Co. is the general contractor, Page is the architect, and Design Workshop is the landscape architect. Blum Engineering is the mechanical and electrical engineer, Walter P. Moore is the structural engineer, and Garza EMC is the civil engineer.
