SAN MARCOS – Z-Modular’s $82 million Flatz 512 apartment complex is almost complete after breaking ground in 2020.
Z-Modular’s unique style consists of “module” apartments that are built off site in Killeen, then shipped to the job site to be stacked and finished.
Flatz 512 has 384 units across eight buildings in addition to the leasing office. It will have studios and one-, two-, and three-bedroom units, pickleball court, fitness center, sports simulator lounge, and dog park.
It will also have electric vehicle charging stations, nature trails, and a stocked pond.
The project, located at 834 Cottonwood Pkwy., is expected to be completed in August.
