MIDLAND – The City of Midland is celebrating the donation of $150,000 from Schlumberger Limited for the construction and installation of playground equipment, solar lighting, and other amenities at Grasslands Park.
The City of Midland reported that the donation from SLB will increase the amount available for projects at Grasslands and Tumbleweed parks to $700,000. $425,000 will be used for Grasslands.
The new amenities at Grasslands Park will be available in the spring and summer of 2024.
