HOUSTON – The Houston Astros have unveiled plans for a hotel and entertainment center next to Minute Maid Park.
The development, which is expected to break ground by the end of 2024, will include a 17-story, 300-key hotel, and about 60,000 sf of retail and entertainment space.
The 2.7-acre site is on the southeast corner of the stadium and is currently being used as a parking lot.
Locally based Hines is helping develop the project, and Dallas-based HKS Architects is designing the master plan.
