SAN ANTONIO – The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) is expanding with an $89.5 million main campus housing development.
The 163,000-sf Blanco Hall will accommodate 594 students. When completed, the university will have 5,183 beds, bringing it within 5 percent of its goal of 5,400 on-campus beds by 2025.
The dorms will also house educational resources and a dietetics kitchen supporting chronic disease prevention.
The hall is just one of three projects representing an investment of roughly $300 million.
Blanco Hall is expected to be completed by June 2025, with residents moving in that August.
