THE WOODLANDS – A deal between Montgomery County and Howard Hughes will revitalize Grogan’s Mill Village Center at 7 Switchbud Pl and fund a new South Montgomery county library and community center.

The $16.5 million library development will be 48,000 sf, which will include a 5,000-sf ballroom, 11 rentable study rooms, full-service conference room, 100-person capacity theater-style classroom, rentable podcast room, and film-producing room.

While Howard Hughes is funding the project, Montgomery County will be responsible for any additional costs over the budgeted amount, according to the contract.
