TOMBALL – The Grand at 249, a shopping center with 404,256 sf of restaurant and retail space, is under development and already 96 percent leased.
The $90 million center’s 12 1- to 2-acre pad sites should be delivered by the end of the year.
The 65-acre site is on the southwestern corner of Grand Parkway and SH 249. An additional 15 acres on the northwestern corner of the intersection will mark the second phase of The Grand of 249, which will add another 100,000 sf of retail space.
Construction on the first multitenant building, totaling 15,000 sf of retail space on the corner of SH 249 and Boudreaux Rd., should begin by the end of the year.
A 145,000-sf multitenant building row is in the design phase. Two multitenant buildings totaling 24,902 sf are also planned.
