Dallas’ apartments break ground on decade-long vacant block

​​DALLAS – An apartment project has broken ground on a one-block property that was vacant for a decade.

The Flynn at Live Oak along Live Oak St. and Bennett Ave. will have five stories, 327 units, coworking space with private offices, grab-n-go mini-mart, and dog park. It will open in spring 2025.

Chicago-based Conor Commercial Real Estate is the developer along with Globe Corp. and Origin Investments.

Merriman Anderson Architects is the designer. Cadence McShane Construction is the general contractor.​

Financing is from Wintrust Bank. JLL arranged the funding.
