TANGLEWOOD – The Houstonian Club fitness club and spa broke ground late last month on a $6.2 million pickleball complex.
The 28,800-sf complex is expected to open in spring 2024.
When completed, The Houstonian Club Pickleball Complex will have eight standalone pickleball courts, four of which will be covered. There will be amphitheater-style seating capable of accommodating up to 300 spectators and dedicated restrooms.
The complex will also have a retail outlet offering pickleball equipment and attire, grab-and-go food, and a curated beverage selection.
The project is being funded by The Houstonian Club’s ownership.
Forney Construction is general contractor for the project, and Design Workshop is designing it.
