BUDA – A major solar panel distributor is opening a 28,000-sf warehouse and showroom where executives plan to employ about 40 people by the end of next year.
Krannich Solar Central LLC, an affiliate of Germany-based Krannich Solar Group GmbH, aims to move by the end of this year into building two in the 274,000-sf Stonefield 35 industrial park.
The park at 16753 N. I-35 Frontage Rd. is being developed by EastGroup Properties Inc.
Privately owned Krannich is a major photovoltaic panel wholesaler. The Buda site will be its fourth U.S. location.
Once open, the company wants to get involved in charitable efforts in Buda and launch internships down the road.
