PFLUGERVILLE – High Street Residential and a fund managed by CBRE Investment Management have begun construction on The Merle at Howard, a 444-unit garden-style apartment community three miles from both I-35 and SH 130.
Phase I will have 15 apartment buildings and five townhome buildings on 17 acres. Amenities will include a pool, fitness center, pet park, coworking space and a golf simulator lounge.
The development will eventually have about 1,400 units on 60 acres constructed over three phases.
As part of the project, a six-acre public park with pickleball courts, basketball courts, playgrounds, and walking trails will be delivered.
Meeks + Partners is the architect, HR Green is the civil engineer, and Provident General Contractors is the general contractor.
