BELL COUNTY – A growing number of solar farms have begun development in Bell County this year, including a 284-megawatt facility that will be built near Stillhouse Hollow Lake. Matrix Renewables acquired the Stillhouse project from OCI Solar Power last month.
“All land acquisition, environmental reviews and electrical interconnection studies are complete,” says the CEO of Matrix.
The Stillhouse project is one of six solar farms being planned in Bell County. Two in Rogers and another near Oenaville are under construction now.
The Stillhouse Hollow Lake Project is projected to be complete by 2025.
