Owners of Southtown restaurant purchase their residing building

SAN ANTONIO – A fully leased retail building in Southtown has been sold to one of its tenants.

The owners of La Frite Belgian Bistro have purchased the building they’ve occupied for years at 726 South Alamo St.

An affiliate of Donnelly Enterprises closed the sale in mid-August and a $1.9 million loan from Encore Bank was taken out as part of the deal.

The building currently has an assessed value of $1.92 million.

The restaurant has been a fixture in the area since 2007, while much of the Southtown dining landscape has seen a shift in recent years. The building is also home to Taqueria Los Cuates and The Lash Doctor beauty salon.
