AUSTIN – Construction is slated to begin this fall on Wilson Tower, which was originally intended to be an 80-story apartment high-rise. It will now be a 45-story, 350-unit complex.
In total, the tower will be 792,196 sf with 398,400 rentable sf.
Plans call for a lobby and retail space on the ground floor. The next eight floors will have both residential units and parking. Levels 12 through 44 will be purely residential. Level 11 will have amenities, a leasing office, and pool deck.
Developer Wilson Capital LP aims to start construction at 410 E. Fifth St. in November. The Avenue Lofts, which currently occupy the lot, must first be demolished, which should wrap up in the following weeks.
Wilson Tower is expected to be completed by fall 2026.
