AUSTIN – Simon Property Group Inc. is giving its portion of The Domain a multimillion-dollar facelift.
No square footage is being added, but, in its first phase, Simon is redoing facades for two buildings, impacting 11 storefronts from All Saints to J. Crew. It is also undertaking a general renovation of common areas.
Additional phases will bring new building facades to the north end of the property, a refreshed outdoor space on Agave Lane, restroom renovations, new railings, added lighting in the west parking area, updated furnishings, accessories throughout, and upgraded landscaping.
Simon has tapped Graycor as contractor for the renovations, Rundell Ernstberger Associates as landscape architect for the park and hardscape and GHA for building design.
All stores will remain open during the changes. Renovations are expected to be completed by the 2024 holiday season.
