Loews hits 1,500 Arlington hotel rooms with latest purchase

ARLINGTON – New York-based hotel firm Loews Hotels is buying the Sheraton Arlington Hotel. This will be the company’s third hospitality property in the city.

Built in 1984, the 311-room, 19-story hotel just south of I-30 has about 26,000 sf of meeting space. It was last renovated in 2009.

With this purchase, Loews now has almost 1,500 hotel rooms open or on the way in Arlington’s entertainment district.
