THE WOODLANDS – Chevron Phillips Chemical is moving its headquarters but remaining in The Woodlands.
The company, whose global HQ is currently at 1001 Six Pines Dr., has purchased a six-story building at 9500 Lakeside Blvd., about two miles away. The new location will get a $60 million makeover before Chevron Phillips moves in.
The Lakeside Blvd. building, which was built in 2000, totals 360,000 sf. Renovations will build out five of the six floors plus part of another floor, totaling 324,000 sf. Kirksey Architecture will lead the design.
The Montgomery County Appraisal District valued the building at $35 million this year. JD Warmack Woodlands was the seller.
Construction could begin this fall and be completed in December 2024.
