HOUSTON – A seven-mile stretch of Bissonnet St., from east of Hillcroft Ave. to west of Dairy Ashford Rd., will undergo a major renovation.
The project will widen sidewalks from five to 12 ft by narrowing vehicle lanes and thinning the median.
Funds will come from a $28.8 million federal grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation and the city.
Completion is slated for June 2028.
