$67M performing arts center underway in Frisco

​​​​​FRISCO – Frisco Independent School District (ISD), the city, and Craig Hall have formed a public-private partnership to develop a $67 million performing arts center.

The master development agreement plan includes a:

  • main performance hall with at least 1,250 seats to be owned by Frisco ISD;

  • 250-plus-seat ​community venue to be owned by the city; and

  • ​parking garage with 1,100 parking spaces to be owned by the city.

The city will contribute $14 million in voter-approved bond money, while Frisco ISD will contribute $43 million from the 2018 bond package.

Hall will contribute $10 million.

The design process begins early next year.
