ROBINSON – Walmart has announced the construction of a $350 million milk processing and bottling plant near I-35 and SH 6 in Robinson.
The 310,000-sf facility will be built on about 80 acres in the Robinson Business Park. It is expected to provide about 400 jobs.
Prices at the Robinson Business Park started at $151,899 per acre and vary depending on lot size, lot type, and accessibility from I-35 and SH 6.
The city has also committed to spending $5.2 million on infrastructure for the facility.
Walmart is up for an incentive package involving a 15-year personal property grant in the form of tax rebates.
Construction will start next month and is scheduled to finish in 2026.
