BRYAN – The U.S. Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration (EDA) announced this week that Bryan will receive a $1.6 million EDA grant as part of a $4.1 million investment in Texas infrastructure.
The grant, which will be matched with $5.4 million in local funds, will go toward roadway improvement and support manufacturing business expansion at the Texas Triangle Park, according to the EDA.
The EDA predicts the project will create 130 jobs and generate $165 million in private investment. The funds are derived from the 2023 Disaster Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act.
