DENTON – A 132-unit affordable housing project has secured a construction loan from BWE, formerly Bellwether Enterprise Real Estate Capital.
The three-building Westview Heights will have one-, two-, and three-bedroom layouts, a pool, fitness center, business center, laundry facilities, and outdoor grilling and dining stations. The apartment has 22 units reserved for market rates and the rest for households earning 30 to 60 percent of the area median income.
BWE is providing a HUD-insured construction loan of $14.4 million to developer Generation Housing Partners. A Low-Income Housing Tax Credit equity was provided by Texas Department of Housing & Community Affairs.
