14.7-acre mixed-use Bayou Village slated for Dickinson

DICKINSON – Collaborate is partnering with the city on Bayou Village, a 14.7-acre mixed-use development on FM 517.

The Dickinson Economic Development Corp. owns the land for Bayou Village and has agreed to sell it to Collaborate.

The project will include a 20,000-sf, multitenant retail building; two pad sites; 40,000-sf grocery store; and four-story apartment complex with up to 240 one- and two-bedroom units and a garage on the ground level.

There will be about 240 parking spaces for the retail and at least 350 for the apartments.

The city plans to develop the first city park just south of the project. The 23-acre park could include sports fields, parking, trails, water features and a boardwalk.

The goal is to break ground on Bayou Village next July and deliver a build-to-suit grocery store and the retail building by spring 2025.
