EL PASO – Facebook-owner Meta is eyeing a 1,000-acre tract in El Paso for an $800 million data center.
The CEO of Borderplex Alliance said that while there are still steps to go until it’s a done deal, El Paso has captured the attention of Meta.
Even though the presence of Meta would greatly improve the economy, many citizens are concerned with how much water a data center uses, especially since El Paso is in a dry region.
