ODESSA – The Rankin County Hospital District has received a $3 million grant from the FMH Foundation to build a new EMS Station and Regional Learning Center.
The $11.5 million project will include adding six ambulance bays and accommodations for six new EMTs, including sleeping quarters, commercial kitchen, living area, and offices.
The project also includes the construction of a learning center that will accommodate up to 50 students. It will be a regional hub for learning Advance Cardiac Life Support, Trauma Nursing Core Course, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, CPR, EMT training, and more.
