COLLEGE STATION – The Texas Alliance of Land Brokers (TALB) will offer its “Advanced Farm and Ranch Studies: The 8 Essential Skills” course in Willow Park on Nov. 8 and in Fredericksburg on Nov. 15.
This eight-hour TREC CE credit and TALCB ACE credit course will give real estate and appraiser license holders an advanced level of professional, working knowledge of the state’s farm and ranch brokerage industry, including an updated review of the Texas Occupations Code, Chapter 1101, the Rules of the Texas Real Estate Commission, and the current standards in eight essential areas of the practice:
- Authority and Financial Qualifications of Buyers and Sellers
- Broker Price Opinions Professionally and Legally Written
- Contracts and Forms
- Title Commitments and Title Insurance
- Surveying and Legal Description
- Water
- The Mineral Estate
- Avoiding Pitfalls – Easements, Adverse Possession, Condemnation
