SA construction company picks up its third government contract in two months

​SAN ANTONIO – Gideon Contracting LLC was recently one of five firms picked to perform work for the U.S. Navy with contracts worth up to $44 million.

Work will be doled out on the firm-fixed-price, according to an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract on a case-by-case basis with a $1,000 minimum award.

Gideon will support the restoration efforts of the Carderock Division of the Naval Surface Warfare Center.

Prospective work will also be performed at facilities in MD, VA, AK, ID, FL, TN, WA, and in the Bahamas.  

The contract is expected to expire by April 2029.​
