AMARILLO – Buc-ee’s plans to break ground Oct. 26 on its 74,000-sf travel center at 9900 E. I-40.
The Amarillo store will have 108 fueling positions and 24 electric vehicle charging stations.
It is expected to create at least 200 full-time jobs. Buc-ee’s offers starting pay well above minimum wage, full benefits, a 6 percent matching 401(k), and three weeks of paid vacation a year.
This location will tie with Buc-ee’s Tennessee location as the company’s largest store. However, the one under construction in Luling will beat out both at 75,000 sf.
