SAN ANTONIO – Early-stage planning is underway for a downtown hotel at 100 North Main Ave.
The property recently sold to an affiliate of Peachtree Group. The plans, however, were filed by REM Hospitality, the previous owner.
The hotel is estimated to be 124,000 sf.
Plans for the roof include a fitness center, pool and terrace areas, meeting rooms, and a bar.
The ground floor has a lobby, kitchen area, employee offices, and a 3,150-sf space labeled “La Panaderia,” which could be another outpost of the popular local Mexican bakery.
