AUSTIN – Beacon Hospice, a freestanding hospital for hospice patients in crisis, will open next year at 16165 RM 620.
The location will offer 18 private rooms, and physicians will be staffed around the clock. Additionally, family visitation hours will be 24/7. There will also be family gathering areas and space for families to stay.
The facility offers short-term care and will have an outpatient team moving to the new location.
Doors will open in spring 2024.
