HOUSTON – The University of Houston’s new $130 million football facility is underway following a sponsorship from Memorial Hermann Health System.
The 105,000-sf Mermorial Hermann Football Operations Center will house the university’s football program and have sports performance centers, an academic support services suite, new locker room, student athlete flex space, and open space for coaches and staff.
It will be connected to TDECU Stadium on the west side and have additional premium seating options.
It will add 14 suites, a 450-seat club section with access to an 11,000-sf club, and a 300-seat roof terrace to the venue’s offerings.
The facility will break ground after the 2023 season and open prior to the 2025 season.
