DALLAS – A $120 million research facility will open this fall in the Southwestern Medical District.
The 150,000-sf Texas Instruments Biomedical Engineering and Sciences Building will be a biodesign center with an assembly and design studio, metal fabrication plant, and 3D-printing rooms for
medical devices.
The facility comes from a partnership between The University of Texas at Dallas and the University of Texas Southwestern.
Construction began in 2021.
