DALLAS – Four cities in the DFW metro ranked among the best real estate markets nationwide according to WalletHub.
The 2023’s Best Real Estate Markets report showed McKinney and Frisco ranked first and second while Denton ranked fourth and Allen sixth.
Rankings are based on home price appreciation, share of underwater mortgages, foreclosure rates, affordability, population growth, and unemployment rates. The study looked at 300 U.S. cities.
Fort Worth ranked 22th, Plano 24th, and Richardson 28th. Irving and Dallas tied for 36th.
Austin was eighth, making five of the top ten spots Texas cities.
