PLANO – A 91-acre former Electronic Data Systems headquarters will have its vacant office space redeveloped into a life science campus, adding a hotel and residential units to the property.
The 1.6 million-sf central office complex will be redeveloped into the Texas Research Quarter, which will have lab, office, and therapeutic production spaces, as well as a community park and educational facilities.
The project also includes developing 775 mid-rise residential buildings and a hotel on Parkwood Blvd. south of Legacy Dr.
NexPoint purchased the property in 2018.
The Texas Research Quarter will be valued at $3 billion.
