GRAND PRAIRIE – A modular home manufacturing plant that will produce homes for both private clients and real estate developers has opened.
The 42,500-sf HiFAB plant will produce 80 percent of the product in the factory and then finish on-site.
Homes will start at $299,000 for two-bedrooms and $399,000 for three-bedrooms. They include delivery, a concrete foundation, a metal roof, and three layers of exterior stucco. They take 30 days to construct.
The homes, which will ship across Texas, are designed by Lake|Flato Architects.
HiFAB will initially make 100 homes a year at this factory.
