SAN MARCOS – A first-of-its-kind sober-living apartment complex has opened its doors as Hays County has an increase in drug overdoses.
The Vibe Victorious provides housing for recovering addicts, who are held accountable for their sobriety by random drug tests, unit checks, and the occasional required support group meeting.
The complex offers furnished three-person units and provides on-site gym, yoga, and meditation services starting at $1,100/month.
The Vibe was founded by Stephanie Ramirez Pelletier with the help of business partner Stephen Flournoy, also the first resident at the complex. They plan to have eight units move-in ready by September.
