FLORENCE – The Texas Department of Public Safety is adding to its Williamson County training facility, which is already a large part of the county’s economy as visiting officers stay in hotels and eat at local restaurants.
The more than 1,000-acre property is at 810 CR 240.
The $381.5 million budget will support the construction of more dorms, additional physical training space, a new cafeteria, new classrooms, and the space to conduct three training schools simultaneously.
