DALLAS – H Mart, the country’s largest Asian grocery chain, will begin construction next year on a 70,000-sf Korean grocery store.
The $28 million project will include gutting the existing building at 2534 Royal Ln. and adding a second floor as office space. Construction begins in January and will end in December 2025.
The city approved $3.5 million in incentive for the project. Under the agreement, H Mart must operate in the location for at least 15 years.
The New Jersey-based supermarket chain typically includes banks, shoes departments, hair salons, gadget stores, food courts, and boba tea within its stores.
