SAN ANTONIO — The city’s utility, CPS Energy, is offering qualifying customers rebates of up to $310 per cooling ton for installation of new energy-efficient air conditioning units.
CPS Energy is offering to help its customers buy central air conditioners, window air conditioners, and heat pumps to replace those that are old or have broken down.
The energy company wants to slow the rate at which they increase generating capacity, and energy-efficient equipment helps residents save money and CPS from having to come in so often.
