Dallas to be home to LGBTQIA+ senior-living facility

​​DALLAS – A senior living facility focusing on LGBTQIA+ seniors is being developed.

The 1.8-acre Oak Lawn Place will have 84 one- and two-bedroom units across five stories as well as a fitness center, community kitchen, business center, and an outdoor terrace. 

The $31 million project will be available to seniors earning 30 to 60 percent of the area median income. It will open June 2024.

The project is Resource Center’s first real estate development. The Dallas Housing Opportunity Fund financed $5 million.​
