Multibillion-dollar Dallas Midtown breaking ground in December

​​​DALLAS – After years of delays, the Dallas Midtown development will begin its initial phase in December with an $80 million project.

This first project will be a 26,000-sf mixed-use building, including 275 apartments and ground-floor retail and restaurant space.

The $5 billion Dallas Midtown will be on 104 acres and include housing, offices, restaurants, and retail. It will also have two luxury hotels, upscale theater, elevated tram system, parks, hiking and bike trails, and interactive water features.

Part of the planned Dallas International District, the development will be on I-635​ at Preston Rd.
