Clay Development saddles up in Mustang Ridge with new distribution center

MUSTANG RIDGE – Clay Development & Construction Inc. will break ground this month on Mustang Ridge Distribution Center II, the first project in the 56.6-acre Mustang Ridge Business Park.

The 218,400-sf rear-load distribution center will be on 15 acres at 6925 FM 1327 and U.S. 183, ten minutes south of Austin-Bergstrom Airport in the southeast Austin submarket.

Mustang Ridge Distribution Center II will be a rear-load distribution facility with 32-foot clear-height ceilings, 60-foot-minimum loading bays, and 50-by-52-foot column spacing. It will have parking for up to 233 employees and 38 trailers with the option of 30 more trailer parking spots. It will have an ESFR sprinkler system. A 5.8-acre detention pond will be built in the park in conjunction with Mustang Ridge Distribution Center II.

Completion is scheduled for first quarter 2024.

Colliers will handle leasing along with Clay Development & Construction. The general contractor is Raymond Construction.
